I have to admit it, I was a little intimidated by the thought of doing a garage floor treatment myself. I researched the project online and I thought I could handle it. The product that I was using was top of the line. It was a 5 step process that would make my garage floor almost impervious to anything. Step one I had to shop vac the floor really good. I wiped the floor down with water and then began step two. Step 2 is what made me kind of nervous. It involved using muriatic acid to acid-etch the floor, however after I read the instructions and watched the short video I was somewhat confident. The whole process was very simple and only took about fifteen minutes to apply, two hours to cure and then clean up. After I acid-etched the floor I cleaned it thoroughly and then applied the primer sealer (process three). Process four involved cleaning the primered floor with denatured alcohol. Process five is the fun part. I mix this two part epoxy together along with a little denatured alcohol and I squeegee this viscous material over the floor. I then use a 30 inch roller, high nap paint brush to evenly roll on the material. I used four coats of the epoxy, and let me tell you it looks great. If your garage is looking a little rough, look into treating it, its fun and looks great.

There are alot of options to treating your garage floor. A garage containment floor mat is a very good option for your garage floor protection. A garage floor mat lasts forever and looks good. So whether you are using a garage floor treatment or a garage floor mat, have fun with your project.

My sister and her family built a huge shop in their backyard almost all by themselves, and to celebrate finishing it, they bought garage floor mats for the areas where they will be standing a lot using their tools. Both my sister and her husband are incredibly creative, so it was important for them to get their shop done so they could move the tools out of the garage and have a specific place for their woodworking and painting. The garage floor mats they bought will keep the concrete looking good and keep their property value high. They are the Jumbo Shop Mat by BLT.

They bought their house at the beginning of the slide in property values, and felt they had no choice in the matter because their old house was too far away from work and it was way too small for their growing family. They wanted a three car garage, but found the perfect house with a two car garage. The yard was huge, so they designed their new shop, had it approved and got it built. They painted on a garage floor treatment so it wouldn't stain, but after starting to use the shop more and more, decided they wanted cushioned garage floor mats so they could stand for hours working on their hobbies.

Since they bought the house at the beginning of the tumble in real estate values, the shop increases the value of their home enough to make up in what they lost when the market tumbled. One of the best things that they did was build that shop. The garage floor treatment was also an important step in increasing the value of the property, too, since the floor will never be stained. These garage floor mats are also easy to keep clean, as well. They sweep up beautifully and can even be taken out for scrubbing, too. They found the garage floor mats at Better Life Technology, LLC, an e commerce site at www.bltllc.com that specializes in garage floor treatments and mats.

My brother in law is one careful consumer, and he liked both the quality and pricing that he found at Better Life Technology. They ordered three of these mats to put down on the floor before they moved all the tools in from the garage. Tools are pretty heavy, and he didn't want to have to move them twice. He thought of everything when they built the new shop, and it's just perfect for anyone who is interested in having a lot of floor space for wood or metal working. It's the perfect addition, and they plan to live for many years, because now it's the 100% perfect home for them.

The one thing that he swears by – and Adam is always doing the math to make sure that he can make a good profit while still remodeling a home and making it amazing inside – is quality garage floor protection for the homes that he buys. In fact, garage floor protection is always in the plans when he remodels a newly purchased home. I asked him why he was so adamant about getting garage floor protection for all the houses and he easily explained to me why. He told me that by having garage floor protection installed, it would save him a fortune in the future because he wouldn’t have to worry about the garage floor getting damaged by cars being parked in there, and that over time it would be one less thing that he would have to worry about once he put the house back on the market for sale!

All those classic cars were given the respect of a nice place to be displayed. The garage floor treatment made the entire space look cleaner and more pristine.

My husband and I enjoy walking through those shows and fantasizing about the beautiful automobiles. This time we also admired the garage floor treatment. We liked the look and idea so much we have decided to use it in own garage.

Since that classic car show we have spent some time on line learning about garage floor treatment. It would be perfect for our three car garage. My husband does a lot of work on our vehicles, sand rail and bikes in the garage. The garage floor treatment would make for a nicer work environment and easier clean up.

With that said, once we paint the garage floor treatment we plan to introduce our own classic car into the space. You know that saying: "One thing leads to another?" I think we are heading down that path and the fantasy will become reality!

The house is brand new so I wont have to deal with any problems from previous owners, and really the only thing I want to do to my house, as far as protection is concerned, is put a garage floor mat in my garage. Garage floor protection, garage floor treatment and other ways to protect your investment can be found easily online. I was over at a friends house and his house beautiful, but his garage floor is a mess. There are cracks, stains, chips and other blemishes in the surface that really take away from the beauty of the house. We were talking, and he was having a company come over and resurface the floor, then install a garage floor treatment. He showed me some options online that really peaked my interest. I really could not afford to pay a professional to come out and treat my floor, so I decided to do it myself. The mat comes in sections that you put together like a big jig-saw puzzle. So easy, and very professional looking.

He loved this garage containment floor mat so much, that he was actually still telling me about it last night at my New Year’s party. I hosted the family’s annual party and there were plenty of my friends and loved ones there. I was actually surprised at how much that dad likes his garage containment floor mat. You see dad is a motorcycle enthusiast and he has always had problems with water collecting on the garage floor. But thanks to this new garage containment floor mat, he has been able to avoid these dilemmas ever since. All of that aside, it was just nice to see all of my family again. The night really went off without a hitch, and we tuned the TV into the local channel once the block party countdown started so that we could easily assure that we were on the right time. Then, once the clock ticked to midnight, all glasses were raised up, and we toasted in the new decade!

It looks great and was an easy application that my husband and I did ourselves. We waited for the weather to cool off before starting this project. It took a couple days to do half the garage floor treatment. It began with a good cleaning of the floor surface. My husband laid down the paint and I followed with the sprinkles. We had to make sure to ventilate the garage area well. The fumes from the garage floor treatment can get pretty heavy without movement in the air.

Now that the one half of the floor is dry it is time to apply the garage floor treatment to the other side. Today, in fact in just a few moments, I will join my husband outside and get the final leg of this project underway. I can hear him now running the hose and beginning the floor cleaning process. We had to get more of the garage floor treatment in order to complete the remainder of the garage. My husband and I almost thought this project would be put on hold because it was difficult to find the same color garage floor treatment. But we lucked out when a sales person was able to find the right stuff high up on the shelf.

That being said, he can really do some damage to the garage floors, and seeing as he and my mother just moved into a brand new house in Tempe, Arizona, my mom told me that one of her gifts to him (and their house) is going to be a garage containment floor mat. I totally agree with my mother’s reasoning here, because I had to get a nice garage containment floor mat for my house in Tempe because it kept getting stained from oil and tire marks—which really takes away from the way that your garage can look, and I like my entire house to be squeaky clean. I think that dad will actually be very surprised that mother thought so far ahead to get something manly for him like a new garage containment floor mat. However, at the same time, it is almost like a gift for the both of them, because the garage containment floor mat will keep that garage floor clean and sound.

I need a good garage floor treatment.

http://www.garagefloor-protection.com/2009/December/I-need-a-good-garage-floor-treatment.htm

Earlier today I spent time cleaning my garage/woodworking shop and among my cleaning tasks was sweeping and vacuuming the garage floor mat I have set in front of each machine. As you can imagine each garage floor mat is like a magnet for collecting all the dust and wood chips I generate when I am building something. this cleaning got me to thinking about how nice it would be to try a new type of garage floor treatment to ease this time consuming task. When I pup my woodworking shop together I installed a dust collection system that is connected to each piece of equipment and I also installed an industrial ceiling mounted dust collector for the very fine dust but even with these running I always end up with a small amount of dust and wood chips on the floor. I am thinking one of the new garage floor treatments such as the inter-locking two foot by two foot "tiles" might be a great way to help with my cleaning of the shop. They not only come in many different styles and finishes, they also can be laid over a cushioned matting so standing on them is comfortable. This is important for me as I spend many hours on my feet when working in the shop.

Helping Hannah Choose Garage Floor Protection After The Flood

http://www.garagefloor-protection.com/2009/December/Helping-Hannah-Choose-Garage-Floor-Protection-After-The-Flood.htm

Last week the electricity company that supplies my neighborhood cut off the electricity without forewarning anybody because they wanted to do some repairs. The upshot of this is that three of the people in our neighborhood got flooded out because there was no electricity to keep sump pumps running and there has been heavy rainfall here in Maryland recently.
Our basement got flooded but we have home insurance so our repairs are covered. What’s more my husband is pretty handy so he knew what to do to minimize the damage and get rid of the water quickly. Our elderly neighbor Hannah was not so fortunate. The concrete on her garage floor is a mess and to make matters worse her husband passed away two months ago. The poor soul didn’t know what to do so my husband and I have been trying to help her as best we can.
My husband has helped her contact her home insurance company to have them repair the concrete. I have helped Hannah to choose some garage floor protection so that the same thing doesn’t happen again. My husband is going to install it for her.
I invited Hannah to our house and switched on my laptop computer to see what we could find by way of garage floor protection. After looking online at different kinds of garage floor protection for a while I came upon a website called Better Life Technology LLC which is located at the website address http://www.bltllc.com. This ecommerce website specializes in the sale of garage floor protection and garage floor mats. Their garage floor protection guarantees that water collecting on garage floor does not damage the concrete underneath.
After looking around the Better Life Technology LLC website for a while Hannah decided which garage floor protection she is going to buy. She chose Levant Pattern Garage Floor Covering:

Levant Pattern Garage Floor Covering

Hannah was really happy that I managed to help her find garage floor protection online. She feels a lot more secure knowing she will not face the same kind of ordeal if water should collect on her garage floor again at some point in the future. I’m just glad that I was able to help her out in some small way because I felt really bad for her.
While I was at the Better Life Technology LLC website I noticed that they have different patterns, styles and colors of garage floor protection. Hence it is possible to buy garage floor protection that goes well with any kind of surroundings. It’s good to know that there are websites like Better Life Technology LLC that can help ordinary people like my neighbor protect their investment.

I was so glad that I had put down some garage floor treatment on my patio earlier this fall because I had a bottle of fabric softener whose cap wasn't on tightly. You guessed it! It blew over and my first clue was that odor that was pretty pervasive. I wondered why the cat was avoiding that part of the patio until I went outside and set foot on the patio since his water bowl was in the same area as my big fabric softener spill. They say cats smell a lot better than humans, and his avoidance of that area was my first clue something was up.

All I can say is thank goodness I had garage floor protection down because it was easy to hose off the patio and get that smell washed down the street. It was easy to clean up, but if it hadn't been for the garage floor protection, I bet the stain and the scent would still be there. What a good decision it was to treat the patio concrete floor with garage floor treatment products. <img src="http://admin.moguling.com/controls/oboutSuite/Editor/Editor_data/ed_icons/emoticons/hot.gif" / alt="garage floor treatment, garage floor protection">

However, I was quite wrong. My roommate and I both park our cars in the garage, and we both have new cars – but still, things spill all over the place. So we decided to shop online to save our floor, looking for deals on garage floor protection mats. I had never even heard of garage floor protection mats before he told me that they made them. So we did some online shopping and found some pretty good selections of garage floor protection mats for some rather grand bargains. Now, thanks to the new garage floor protection mats in my garage, no more oil spills, tire stains or rust and water marks. The garage floor protection mats that we bought are really easy to clean as well. We simply hose them off a few times per month using industrial cleaner to cut through the oil, grease and stains and our GARAGE FLOOR IS SAVED!

There are so many things that can happen to your valuable garage floor over time that can really take away from the overall value of your home. My dad has a really nice home in Tempe, Arizona that he has been working on remodeling over the past few years. Finally, he is nearing the completion of this rather lengthy endeavor of him really supping up his house and making it first rate. I can tell you first hand that my dad has some serious carpenter skills, because the entire home looks gorgeous.

The last thing on his list of items to remodel was his garage – I think that he put that off until last because he really wanted the more noticeable and higher traffic areas of the home completed first. That being said, he started on his garage floor treatment the other day, and was telling me that he actually found the best deal ever on some garage floor treatment online. I didn’t really believe him at first, as I never knew that you could find garage floor treatment online, but apparently dad can show me something from the internet after all.

Usually it is me who is showing my father how to find deals and bargains online. But this time around, he showed me this awesome site that he found the best values ever on the garage floor treatment that he wanted to use to finally finish the remodel of his really nice home, and call it a day. He said that he was shopping around online looking for deals on garage floor treatment mats and other flooring options for his garage when came across a great online store called Better Life Technology, LLC – which is located online at this following web address: http://www.bltllc.com, and that specializes in selling and designing patented garage floor treatment mats, and other things that can make your garage all fancy and nice.

Turns out that they had just the garage floor treatment mats that dad was looking for. Take a look at this Levant Pattern Garage Floor Covering – which will easily protect my dad’s garage floor from oil spills, water damage, cracks and erosion. Turns out that dad can actually find deals online on things like garage floor treatment mats these days. So all this time I have been urging him to shop online has finally paid off. HIS GARAGE IS GOING TO LOOK GREAT!

We’ve all experienced the” I’ll do it tomorrow” approach to dealing with water collecting on garage floor, so we understood why mama and poppa took a while to come around, but now that their water collecting on garage floor is fixed, they and the grandkids are rediscovering the garage room all over again. The first thing we did was to entice them into sitting with us on the computer to look for some garage floor treatment and they were actually having fun sifting through all the excellent options to finally stop their water collecting on garage floor problem. After a couple of hours looking around, they finally committed on one garage protection system and we were all pretty happy with it. It only took about a day to get all the stuff done once we got the whole package and when it was all done, mama and poppa were happy to see their water collecting on garage floor problem gone and the grandkids having fun playing in a much safer garage.

Have you ever had one of those people that you knew in your life that were totally obsessed with racecars and everything that that has to do with them? That is my dad! He even has a racing themed garage floor mat in his car storage area that is really cool looking. Yep, you guessed it, my dad loves racing so much that he even got a racing themed garage floor mat for his house. But you won’t hear me complaining when I get to back out the Audi from his racing themed garage floor mat and drive it out around town on a lazy Sunday. Those are some great times for my dad and I. We get to enjoy the cool weather with the sunroof open, and drive around town and talk to each other. I don’t think that enough people get out and enjoy a decent Sunday drive these days. It is a shame too, when you really think about it, because that is one of the biggest ways that my father and I have bonded over the past few years.

http://www.garagefloor-protection.com/2009/November/Me-and-My-Harley-Enjoy-Our-Garage-Floor-Mats.htm

Every Harley marks its spot and since I am a rider and have my own home and garage, I bought two garage floor mats, one for the living room and one for the garage. I pull in after a nice weekend ride and it's good not to have oil on the garage floor. Now it's all on the mats. This is helping out also because at times I get bored and want my scooter in the house so the motorcycle mat works great for confining oil stains to the mat, not the carpet. Sometimes I also like to work on my motorcycle in the house, too. The lighting is much better in the kitchen, it's a whole lot warmer in the winter and cooler than the summer, and I can just spread my tools on the counters and go from there. I'm not a great mechanic, but I can do a few maintenance jobs myself like change the oil and replace light bulbs.

This garage floor containment mat is 10' x 5' and it was bigger than I needed for the house, so I simply trimmed it using a sharp knife. My Harley isn't a big one so when I found a website that sells lots garage floor protection items, I was so relieved. Prior to getting the garage floor mat, I'd used cardboard but that eventually will bleed through to the floor. I bought these mats from Better Life Technology, LLC whose website address is http://www.bltllc.com. I knew that these garage floor mats were the perfect solution for both the house and the garage.

The garage floor mats are thick enough so I don't have to worry about the kick stand making dents in the living room or kitchen flooring, either. The mats aren't that heavy, so when the oil drips mount up, I simply take them outside with grease cleaners and hose them off, let them dry, and bring them back inside. The garage floor mats are also soft enough so that the tires don't develop flat spots, either. I ride my Harley pretty much on weekends, so they do spend a lot of time in one spot. Rather than having to move the bike a couple of times a week, now I simply let the mat do its magic.

Will I always ride my Harley? Probably. I love seeing the mountain wilderness near my home as directly as I can and I love the wind blowing by, and also like the 50 MPG I get, too. Riding a bike makes me feel like a kid again, and that is an ageless feeling, so armed with garage floor mats, my Harley and I live together quite happily.

Using Garage Floor Protection Tile on the Outdoor Patio

http://www.garagefloor-protection.com/2009/October/Using-Garage-Floor-Protection-Tile-on-the-Outdoor-Patio.htm

Now that the fall weather is here to stay, we're undertaking a big project for our patio. It's unpainted concrete right now and we want to put peel and stick tile down so that it will look nice. We found some tile that will withstand outdoor elements and it's easy to put down, so we ordered enough for our 10' x 16' patio area. The picture shows the G-Force RaceDay Peel & Stick Floor Tile. This is the black and white version, but we ordered a slate grey in 12" x 12" pieces. The tiles shown here are 16" square, but we didn't want to do any cutting, so we chose the 12" size.

We found them at a website called Better Life Technology, LLC located at www.bltllc.com. They sell a lot of products for garage floor protection. What was so compelling about buying them from this particular website was that they explained the entire process of floor preparation so clearly on their website, along with laying the tiles and maintaining the tiles over time. Most of the time when ordering flooring from a website, they tell the user very little about what they're buying and how to get ready for it, much less putting the garage floor protection product down.

Knowing exactly what we have to do to put the garage floor protection tile down is going to make it so much easier and once we get the tiles, we can get busy right away. I'd like to have the floor down by Thanksgiving and celebrate that holiday by inviting our family over for a big feast. We like to barbecue the turkey and serve outside, unless the weather is cold, windy or raining.

Instead of just painting the floor, we wanted to use garage floor protection tile because it adds a layer of cushion. We use garage floor protection mats in the garage and really like how they feel on our feet and legs. Our climate is a dusty one, so with garage floor protection tiles like these, we'll be able to just hose them off. We seldom have freezing weather and the climate is incredibly dry, so cleaning the tiles with the hose is a realistic and fast solution to knocking down the dust and debris commonly found on outdoor patios.

Our patio gets a lot of use which is why we decided to upgrade it using a garage floor protection product for our own enjoyment of it and for the future resale value. This tile should last a good long time, and it seems easy to put down and it will install really fast. It doesn't get much better than that.

More than just a garage floor mat.

http://www.garagefloor-protection.com/2009/October/More-than-just-a-garage-floor-mat.htm

While looking for new flooring for an outdoor porch I stumbled across a very nice product for garage floor protection. Actually, this garage floor mat is specifically designed for protecting your garage or trailer floor when storing a motorcycle or ATV, but I think the Motorcycle Mat from Better Life Technology, LLC .com has many other uses besides just as a garage floor protection solution. I would like to use these motorcycle mats for my garage floor mat needs in my workshop where I am occasionally spilling stains, paints and expensive tools that are all to easy to break or chip a sharp cutting edge. Not to mention this mat would provide a nice cushioned surface to stand on to reduce leg fatigue.
The mat will also do double duty as a great surface to park an ATV or riding lawn mower on plus when working on your motorcycle, ATV, or riding lawn mower the garage floor mat will keep you from kneeling or laying on a wet, cold, or dirty garage floor. The mat also has a cushioning effect which is always nice when compared to working on a motorcycle or other machine while laying on a hard concrete garage floor. The mats are easy to trim to the proper size for the room you have available, the built in ribbed design channels fluids for easy clean up, and will keep those sockets, nuts, bolts, etc from dropping to the garage floor and rolling off to places where we can never seem to find them. I like the fact this garage floor mat comes in a large ten foot by five foot size and also is available in two thicknesses--tough and extra tough. I think this rubber mat would also work very well in one of the open or box trailers many people use to transport their motorcycles to shows and races. If a person has more than one motorcycle or a combination of motorcycles, ATV's, mowers they can easily accommodate all these toy's by laying two or more garage floor protection mats side by side. I found this garage floor mat at www.bltllc.com where they have plenty of garage floor protection products to satisfy any need. I think the uses for a tough mat like this are only limited by the buyers imagination and from the testimonials sent in by people who have purchased this garage floor protection mat they give it a ten, or excellent score and would definitely recommend it to friends.
