Getting garage floor protection can really save you some big bucks over the years! |
| 1/20/2010 2:06:21 AM |
My older brother Adam owns a few rental homes in Arizona, and the first thing that he does whenever he buys the homes is remodel them – as he plans on selling them later on for a profit. The one thing that he swears by – and Adam is always doing the math to make sure that he can make a good profit while still remodeling a home and making it amazing inside – is quality... Read More

Letting My New Garage Floor Mat Protect My Investment |
| 1/8/2010 10:06:30 AM |

I just purchased my first home and it feels pretty good not to be renting anymore. The house is brand new so I wont have to deal with any problems from previous owners, and really the only thing I want to do to my house, as far as protection is concerned, is put a garage floor mat in my garage. Garage floor protection, garage floor treatment and other ways to protect your... Read More |

Helping Hannah Choose Garage Floor Protection After The Flood |
| 12/12/2009 1:40:40 AM |
Last week the electricity company that supplies my neighborhood cut off the electricity without forewarning anybody because they wanted to do some repairs. The upshot of this is that three of the people in our neighborhood got flooded out because there was no electricity to keep sump pumps running and there has been heavy rainfall here in Maryland recently. Our basement got... Read More |

Garage Floor Treatment Worked out Great for Patio Spill |
| 12/9/2009 9:33:40 AM |
A few days ago we had a powerful winter storm go through the region and the winds gusted as high as 74 miles per hour in the middle of the night. I was so glad that I had put down some garage floor treatment on my patio earlier this fall because I had a bottle of fabric softener whose cap wasn't on tightly. You guessed it! It blew over and my first clue was that odor that... Read More |

New garage floor protection mats will save concrete from oil, other stains |
| 12/2/2009 1:54:49 AM |
I thought that by having a brand new car, that my garage floor would not be subjected to oil stains and the sort. However, I was quite wrong. My roommate and I both park our cars in the garage, and we both have new cars – but still, things spill all over the place. So we decided to shop online to save our floor, looking for deals on garage floor protection mats. I had... Read More

Me and My Harley Enjoy Our Garage Floor Mats |
| 11/9/2009 3:04:09 PM |
Every Harley marks its spot and since I am a rider and have my own home and garage, I bought two garage floor mats, one for the living room and one for the garage. I pull in after a nice weekend ride and it's good not to have oil on the garage floor. Now it's all on the mats. This is helping out also because at times I get bored and want my scooter in the house so the motorc... Read More works great for confining oil stains to the mat, not the carpet. Sometimes I also like to work on my motorcycle in the house, too. The lighting is much better in the kitchen, it's a whole lot warmer in the winter and cooler than the summer, and I can just spread my tools on the counters and go from there. I'm not a great mechanic, but I can do a few maintenance jobs myself like change the oil and replace light bulbs. This garage floor containment mat is 10' x 5' and it was bigger than I needed for the house, so I simply trimmed it using a sharp knife. My Harley isn't a big one so when I found a website that sells lots garage floor protection items, I was so relieved. Prior to getting the garage floor mat, I'd used cardboard but that eventually will bleed through to the floor. I bought these mats from whose website address is . I knew that these garage floor mats were the perfect solution for both the house and the garage. The garage floor mats are thick enough so I don't have to worry about the kick stand making dents in the living room or kitchen flooring, either. The mats aren't that heavy, so when the oil drips mount up, I simply take them outside with grease cleaners and hose them off, let them dry, and bring them back inside. The garage floor mats are also soft enough so that the tires don't develop flat spots, either. I ride my Harley pretty much on weekends, so they do spend a lot of time in one spot. Rather than having to move the bike a couple of times a week, now I simply let the mat do its magic. Will I always ride my Harley? Probably. I love seeing the mountain wilderness near my home as directly as I can and I love the wind blowing by, and also like the 50 MPG I get, too. Riding a bike makes me feel like a kid again, and that is an ageless feeling, so armed with garage floor mats, my Harley and I live together quite happily. |

Using Garage Floor Protection Tile on the Outdoor Patio |
| 10/20/2009 1:30:42 AM |
Now that the fall weather is here to stay, we're undertaking a big project for our patio. It's unpainted concrete right now and we want to put peel and stick tile down so that it will look nice. We found some tile that will withstand outdoor elements and it's easy to put down, so we ordered enough for our 10' x 16' patio area. The picture shows the G-Force RaceDay Peel... Read More. This is the black and white version, but we ordered a slate grey in 12" x 12" pieces. The tiles shown here are 16" square, but we didn't want to do any cutting, so we chose the 12" size. We found them at a website called located at . They sell a lot of products for garage floor protection. What was so compelling about buying them from this particular website was that they explained the entire process of floor preparation so clearly on their website, along with laying the tiles and maintaining the tiles over time. Most of the time when ordering flooring from a website, they tell the user very little about what they're buying and how to get ready for it, much less putting the garage floor protection product down.Knowing exactly what we have to do to put the garage floor protection tile down is going to make it so much easier and once we get the tiles, we can get busy right away. I'd like to have the floor down by Thanksgiving and celebrate that holiday by inviting our family over for a big feast. We like to barbecue the turkey and serve outside, unless the weather is cold, windy or raining. Instead of just painting the floor, we wanted to use garage floor protection tile because it adds a layer of cushion. We use garage floor protection mats in the garage and really like how they feel on our feet and legs. Our climate is a dusty one, so with garage floor protection tiles like these, we'll be able to just hose them off. We seldom have freezing weather and the climate is incredibly dry, so cleaning the tiles with the hose is a realistic and fast solution to knocking down the dust and debris commonly found on outdoor patios. Our patio gets a lot of use which is why we decided to upgrade it using a garage floor protection product for our own enjoyment of it and for the future resale value. This tile should last a good long time, and it seems easy to put down and it will install really fast. It doesn't get much better than that. |

More than just a garage floor mat. |
| 10/17/2009 7:05:27 PM |
| While looking for new flooring for an outdoor porch I stumbled across a very nice product for garage floor protection. Actually, this garage floor mat is specifically designed for protecting your garage or trailer floor when storing a motorcycle or ATV, but I think the Motorcycle Mat from Better Life Technology, LLC .com has many other uses besides just as a garage floor... TLC With A Garage Containment Floor Mat |
| 10/15/2009 10:20:37 PM |

Some people treat their garage like the largest closet in the house where we store everything and anything, but we should start giving our garages a little more love with a garage containment floor mat. The beauty of the garage containment floor mat is that it not only beautifies your garage, but it also protects the floor and those walking on it. Let me tell you, that... Read More |

Garage Floor Protection May Mean Better Resale Value |
| 10/15/2009 12:55:21 PM |

My husband's job requires us to move from town to town, state to state, and we have been passing through various houses. Some have garages. Some don't. We still own a home in Upstate New York, as well. We have a garage on our property, but it resembles more of a barn. The floor is a dirt patch that doesn't really need garage floor protection. What is my point in all of this?... Read More |

Easy Clean Ups with a Garage Floor Treatment |
| 10/15/2009 12:46:15 PM |

My husband and I did a garage floor treatment ourselves a few years back. It was a two day project. First we had to fill in the cracks in the concrete floor. When that had dried the following day we applied the garage floor treatment. My husband stroked out the initial layer of gray paint and I sprinkled the texture pieces right behind him. We did a good job and it is... Read More |

Keeping Our Game Time Going With Garage Floor Protection |
| 9/12/2009 4:35:56 PM |

My mother used to tell me that one of the best ways to make my garage a lot homier was to put some garage floor protection on the floor. When I was growing up my sister and I used to spend a lot of time playing in the garage and we used love the fact that there was garage floor protection on the floor, because we used to love walking barefoot all over the place and the... Garage Floor Protection Is Necessary Here In Maryland |
| 9/12/2009 10:19:11 AM |
I live in Maryland and any sensible individual who lives here will tell you that garage floor protection is an absolute must. However there are still some people around these parts that try to cut corners by not having garage floor protection fitted and they always live to regret it. You see flash floods are not uncommon here and five or six inches of rain can easily fall... Read More |

007 Move Ends with Garage Floor Protection Breath of Relief |
| 9/11/2009 5:32:52 PM |
The standard garage floor is a polished porous cement floor. Being that it is porous, all sorts of liquids can and do seep in them over the course of homeownership. The house I grew up in had a two car sized cement floor with garage floor protection which couldn’t have been a smarter move. Two little boys make all sorts of messes. I remember one time, after watching a Bond... Read More |

My Apt Parking Lot Needs Garage Floor Treatment |
| 9/3/2009 1:21:55 PM |
The apartment where I live has underground parking which seems to be getting a clean every few months. Without fail every four or so months residents will get a note on their door saying on this day we would appreciate you leaving your parking space open from 8 am to 6 pm while we pressure wash and repaint the spots. I don’t understand why they just don’t lay down a garage... Read More |

Is Your Water Collecting On Garage Floor Problem Bringing Out Your Hulk? |
| 9/2/2009 5:38:25 PM |

When the rainy days start to come around you can feel the tension the air with all the water collecting on garage floors. I know some people that are fun and happy almost all the time, but whenever they see water collecting on garage floor it’s like they turn into Hulk all over that place. However, I think this year their Hulk is not going to come out, because they’ve... Read More |

An easy fix, garage floor treatment |
| 8/31/2009 8:11:22 PM |
| In these times, most people are staying in their homes longer and remodeling or just doing simple updates for themselves and the future selling of their homes. I was looking around my home and see I need to replace light fixtures and some countertops. I then went into my garage and that’s when it hit me, the garage floor looks horrible. When my boys lived at home, they... Read More |

My choice for garage floor protection. |
| 8/15/2009 8:18:09 PM |
| Providing garage floor protection for your garage is a good way to protect the floor and investment. There are many ways to protect the floor but what a person uses is usually dictated by what they use their garage for. Since most people use their garage to park vehicles in a good garage floor treatment such as paint made for a garage floor or using one of the specialized... Read More |

Brake Fluid Best Matched with Garage Floor Protection |
| 8/15/2009 1:48:20 PM |
This past weekend I took a few days off to fly up north to the Pacific Northwest where my dad lives. Before putting the house for sale his garage was a cluttered as a pack rat’s 100 square foot apartment. Now that the junk had been cleared, I could clearly see his... Read More |

Garage Floor Protection First Thing We'll Do When It Cools Off |
| 8/6/2009 2:13:34 PM |
All summer long I make up lists of things I'm going to do in the garage when it cools off. At the top is to put down some garage floor protection as soon as it cools off enough so we can move out the equipment that is in there. We want to sell the house, and everything is in pretty good shape except for the garage floor. We have used a few garage floor mats just to keep... Read More |
