My daughter called me a few days ago to ask if I could help her find a garage floor mat for her boyfriend’s new garage.   I could tell when she called that she was stressed, but I didn’t want to pry by asking her too many questions.  I figured if she wanted to talk about what was bothering her, that she’d come forth with it, and until then, I’d stick to the task at hand, finding a garage floor mat.     I did ask a few questions about what they were looking for and she explained that he had worked on a few cars but some oil had spilled onto the floor and he really wanted to avoid that happening.  Someone had suggested he buy a garage floor mat but the one he’d looked at was very expensive so he decided to skip it.   She knew that I loved shopping online and thought maybe I could find a garage floor mat online for a decent price.   I took me a little while, but I was able to find what they needed.   In the end I ordered it for them and told them to consider it a small gift.   

My dad is one of those guys that loves to collect bikes and cars, and work on them and fix them up.
