Saw Water Collecting on Garage Floor and Knew I had to Take Action

Yesterday on my home from work, I got caught in a huge storm. I thought about pulling over on the side of the road several times, but I decided to slowly make my way home instead. When I got close to the house and was about to enter the garage, I noticed that there was water collecting on garage floor and I went into a panic. I actually left the car out of the garage, jumped out and started trying to sweep the water out, but it seemed to be reappearing just as fast. I also knew that in spite of my many urgings for my husband to order us some garage floor protection online, that he’d failed to do so simply because he’d been so busy. My parents were very understanding when my brother brought home a rear-wheel drive early 90’s Toyota MR2 while in high school. Our apartment complex has underground parking for many of its residents. It isn’t a huge garage, housing maybe 50 cars but it is filled up when everyone comes home from work. I was walking to my car while a guy on a motorcycle waited on the entrance incline to come in after the gate opened.
