garage floor treatment


Half the garage floor treatment is done. It looks great and was an easy application that my husband and I did ourselves. We waited for the weather to cool off before starting this project. It took a couple days to do half the garage floor treatment. It began with a good cleaning of the floor surface. My husband laid down the paint and I followed with the sprinkles. We had to make sure to ventilate the garage area well. The fumes from the garage floor treatment can get pretty heavy without movement in the air.

Now that the one half of the floor is dry it is time to apply the garage floor treatment to the other side. Today, in fact in just a few moments, I will join my husband outside and get the final leg of this project underway. I can hear him now running the hose and beginning the floor cleaning process. We had to get more of the garage floor treatment in order to complete the remainder of the garage. My husband and I almost thought this project would be put on hold because it was difficult to find the same color garage floor treatment. But we lucked out when a sales person was able to find the right stuff high up on the shelf.
