I need to look into garage floor treatments, so much for the garage because I seldom use it, but for my patio. I live in an area with insanely hard water, and use an evaporative cooler during parts of the summer to cool the home. The salts build up on the cooler pads, and they drop to the concrete, and etch it away. There are some great garage floor treatments that would not be hard to apply to solve the problem. Some of the treatments make the concrete slippery when wet, so I will try to avoid those. The ones that mix sand in will probably work the best. While we do not get much rain here, sometimes we have some huge gully washers in the summer and winter.
People who spend a lot of time in the garage have to stand on the cold concrete while they work on their hobbies, and by using floor garage mat, they can avoid some of the leg aches or foot aches. They are usually black, which is the color of most of dirt that stains a garage floor in the first place.
